Home American Mortgage is the worst experience I had with the process of Buying my house, No Communication and they don't even care. Jaci and Shannon were very helpful and informative. American homes drove through a ditch with our house, took out our street sign and cut down half our tree without permission. Then when they craned it they nailed boards to the side of the house and ended up ripping up the vinyl in the kitchen. The cracks they "fixed" came right back and 2 of the doors don't shut. The floor is coming up behind the toilet and none of the molding around the doors match up.

Wish i would have paid for a home inspection before closing. Lots of things wrong and Received dirty house with several damages. Neighbors i talked to had a similar experience.Three months later several items still not fixed noted at time of final walk through. Sales agent was the only positive part of the experience that was a true advocate to help us with all the issues with construction and mortage process. The block next to us, started after our street, started after our foundation was already in place for 4 months, and most of the block has people living on it. Excuse after excuse, about how they can't keep crews, the block next to us is Richmond as well. They do not seem to have a problem keeping people. My realtor has been doing this for over 20 years including recent builds and has never seen such poor building ever.

After push back from Chris he said all IFC items would be done on 1 day scheduled for the 25th of July. The 25th arrived and only two of the ten items were completed leaving me with still an unfinished home affecting the livability of the home. I reported Richmond to the BBB for them not completing any work on 8/2.
